Help Advance Research for Major Depressive Disorder

Join a Clinical Research Study for Adults with Depression in New York

If you live in or near the New York area, are between 18 and 85 years old, and have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD), you may be able to participate in a clinical research study.

This study is for adults who are currently taking a single antidepressant medication but feel their symptoms have not improved enough. Researchers are studying whether an investigational medication, together with structured psychological support, may help reduce symptoms of depression compared with placebo (a treatment with no active ingredients).

There is no cost to participate. All study-related care is provided as part of the research. Compensation may be available.

Participation is voluntary, and you may choose to stop at any time.

This is a research study and is not intended to replace your current medical care.

Why Participate?

Help Advance Depression Research
By taking part, you can contribute to clinical research focused on developing new treatment options for people living with major depressive disorder.

No Cost to Participate
All study-related visits and procedures are provided at no cost. Participants may also be reimbursed for study-related time and reasonable travel expenses.

    • Attend a combination of in-person and remote study visits
    • Be part of a double-blind study, meaning neither you nor the study staff will know whether you receive the investigational medication or placebo

  • Have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder
  • Experienced your first episode of depression before age 60
